3rd International Conference on Design, Analysis, Manufacturing and Simulation (ICDAMS 2018)
The 3rd International Conference on Design, Analysis, Manufacturing and Simulation, ICDAMS 2018, was organized during 6-7 April 2018 by the Departments of Mechanical and Automobile Engineering, Saveetha School of Engineering, SIMATS, Chennai. This conference was intended to provide a common platform to bring together researchers, engineers, scientists, and scholars to exchange and share their experiences, new ideas, and research results about all aspects of Mechanical Engineering. ICDAMS 2018 was successful in establishing a better rapport and cooperation between the academic institutions, the industries and the research establishments.

ICDAMS 2018 had attracted 368 papers and after scrutiny totally 180 papers (39 papers in Design Engineering; 25 papers in Manufacturing Engineering; 23 papers in Materials & Processing; 59 papers in Thermal Engineering; 11 papers in Industrial Engineering; 13 papers in Interdisciplinary and 10 papers in Bio-Engineering) have been short listed for Oral Presentation. From the International arena, ICDAMS 2018 received papers from 11 countries namely New Zealand, Russia, Lithuania, Bahrain, Botswana, Egypt, Malaysia, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Indonesia and India. The conference facilitates keynote address by eminent people from reputed academia, Industries and research organizations from both within and outside the country.
Faculty members, Research Scholars and Post Graduate students from various institutions of International & National repute such as Auckland University of Technology, Samara State Technical University, University of Botswana, Bahrain Polytechnic, Financial University under the Government and Private Universities, Government and private colleges around the country have sent in their research papers for the Conference. Apart from these, researchers from prominent National Research Institutes and Laboratories have also sent papers and are participating in ICDAMS 2018. The Journal partners of ICDAMS 2018 are (i) MATEC Web of Conferences Proceedings, (ii) International Journal of Pure and Applied Mathematics and (iii) International Journal of Vehicle Structures and Systems (all Scopus Indexed Journals).
